In the "Land of Not Quite Right"

It is very rude to blow one's nose here.
It is instead the accepted practice to sniff and snuff deeply.
It is also completely acceptable to hawkup what might be in one's throat and spit it out, precariously close to someone else's foot ... both indoors and outdoors.

And finally, covering one's mouth to block a cough or sneeze is very rare, even if you sneeze in someone's face ... which is how I got this cold in the first place :(
