Weekend

We had a busy weekend so it's tough to face Monday morning now. We bought a motorbike on Saturday. It's the same kind of bike Brian had before, so we feel so at home being on it again. It's not as nice looking as we'd like, but it was the only one we saw of that kind. I don't have pictures yet, but I'll post some soon.




One of the Korean teachers at our school got married yesterday, and we were obliged to go. Korean weddings are just a big show - there isn't much romance at all. There was a lot of stage smoke as the bride entered and left. The audience seemed to talk amongst themselves, laughing and everything while the ceremony took place. The bride and groom didn't exchange a word, let alone rings - hardly looked at each other. Photographers and videographers had full reign, walking back and forth the whole time, and in the couple's face most of the time. After the ceremony, there was no reception. Everyone from the school went out for lunch though, to celebrate, minus the bride of course.
Prior to the ceremony the Bride was all alone in a viewing room for people to congratulate her and take photos.

Brian's still having fun with our oven. It has a rotisserie, which is very fun and makes delicious chicken. PS- that's a small chicken ... in a small oven.
