Our Car !!

Brian and I are the proud new owners of this 1995 Ford Falcon. We opted for the stationwagon as vans were scarce. We paid almost $1000 more than our budget as we wanted the dual fuel. (They use a lot of liquid propane gas here, which costs about 1/3 the price of unleaded gas). The space in the back gives us plenty of room for the paraglider, my big suitcases and camping gear. The car (from a dealership geared toward backpackers) came with roadside assistance and a 12 month warrenty on major parts.

We'll head to Tasmania tomorrow night where we'll start looking for fruit picking jobs.
